How I Got A $12,000 Check From The Government to Start My $5,000 a Month Business on Google!
- By Keith Anderson
- Published 02/14/2009
Hi, my name is Keith and I started this blog
because I want everyone to know how I went from being a struggling unemployed waiter to paying off all my
debt in a few months simply by spending a couple minutes filling out a few forms online! The Quick Facts:
I was able to get a $12,000 check from the US Govt which I never have to pay back, and started an easy online Google business which makes me over $5,000 a month with about 12 hours of work per week. All I had to do was fill out 2 forms online for a free grant kit and a program called google cash:
Step 1: Free Grant Kit - Costs $1.99 for shipping.
Step 2: Home Business Kit - Costs $9.95 for shipping.
The rest was easy. I got my grant money within 30 days and was able to pay off all my debt, and the google cash kit helped me start my 8-12 hour a week business that's making me over $5000 a month in my spare time. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I've got a two year old daughter that requires a lot of my attention. If I had more time to devote to this, I'd probably be making so much more.

The Full Story
Note: I hate all those "get rich quick" schemes you see on TV where they tell you that you're going to make thousands on real estate investing or some other crap. Don't fall for that crap, it costs hundreds to get started and is usually a scam. The stuff I did here is all free to get started and took me a long time to research.
A few years ago, I ended up running up a significant amount of credit card debt and didn't really have a good job to pay this off. On top of that, I had my home and car loans to worry about. I didn't have the best job in the world, so I needed to find a way to get some money.
I started to do some research, and asked my sister for advice since she has been running her own online business since 2004 and doing great. I'm really glad I did. She recommended I apply for a government grant by using a free program you can get online called Grants For You to help me get started and clear my debt, and she also recommended I get a program called Home Business Kit which she used to start her business as well. So I took her advice, and here is exactly what I did:
Step 1:
Get Your Free Grant Kit - This was the first, step in the process. I had to pay some $1.99 shipping fee, but seriously, for the amount I got back from this, it seems like a joke to me now. After getting this program, I was immediately able to apply for thousands of grants that most people don't know about. It was really little hassle and I was amazed that more people didn't know about it. With just 1 application I was able to get a check for $12,000 which I will never have to pay back. It helped me:
- Pay off my credit card debt
- Pay for some of my home loans
- Pay for a new laptop
- Help my new online business get started
Here's a picture of the check I got:

It was really a no brainer. Again, here's the link for the Grants For You free grant kit.
Step 2:
Get the Google Home Business Kit - This is the second step that I took, and probably more important than the first one. My sister did this years ago, and now she's making crazy money, and taking vacations all over the place with her husband. I'm not to that point yet, but then again, I only work on it for 8-12 hours a week. It still pulls in over $5,000 a month for me, which is WAY more than I need for my household expenses, and after my kids are old enough to go to school, it's going to be easy to turn it into a 5 figure a month job. I really like it because:
- It fits in my schedule (12 hours a week is nothing)
- It makes me good money
- It was SO EASY to get started, I was really surprised
- All of my friends are now jealous
Here is a picture of one of my google checks from earlier this year:
I always wondered how people like my sister made so much money in their spare time on the internet, and now I know. Here's the link for the Home Business Kit again.
My Life Now:
Thanks to the advice from my sister, and the 2 forms I filled out, I'm doing great. I have more money than I ever need for household expenses and taking care of my girl and I've saved up a good amount for a rainy day. Anyway, here are the links for the 2 forms I filled out to get started again:
Step 1: Free Grant Kit - $1.99 for shipping
Step 2: Home Business Kit - $9.95 for shipping
I hope you have as much success with this as I did!
Sincerely,
Adam

Leveling the Unemployment Insurance Playing Field
- By Unemployment Advisor
- Published 09/26/2008
Sometimes it is all too easy
to assume that if you lose your job, you can file a claim for unemployment
benefits and receive at least some temporary income. After all, your employer
has already paid for these benefits to your state’s unemployment insurance
fund. The money is there. You just need to claim it. Sounds easy, right? Think
again.
While the unemployment insurance system is set up to work that way, the practical facts are that when it comes to your specific claim, there are more hurdles than you might expect. Don’t forget – you’re dealing with a state agency, but your employer (ex-employer) will likely fight your claim every step of the way. Why? Because it can be penalized by federal and/or state authorities when you receive the benefits that you deserve!
As your Unemployment Advisor, I will provide you with an overview of the system in the accompanying e-book (that you can download and read). It gives you an overview of how the system works and shows you the challenges you may face in receiving your unemployment insurance benefits – how to file your initial benefits claim, dealing with denial or disqualification, and appeal a denial if necessary.
Meeting Your Challenges to Receive the Benefits you Deserve
- By Unemployment Advisor

I often call unemployment
insurance an ‘entitlement,’ because it is based on meeting the legal
requirements (which you’ll read in detail in the e-book). If you meet the eligibility requirements
established by your state and comply with the rules of your state (all states
are listed with direct links in the e-book), you should be ‘entitled’ to
receive these funds.
Unfortunately, the number and variety of arguments your ex-employer can and will make to the state agency to deny your claim, or disqualify you after your benefits have been approved, may surprise you.
My mission as your Unemployment Advisor is to guide you through this complex system and provide you with the information and answers you need to win your unemployment insurance claim or appeal, despite the challenges and your ex-employer’s incentives and resources to use these legal loopholes and exceptions to protect themselves and deny you the benefits you deserve.
For example, there are various reasons for ‘disqualification’, such as: quitting work with a reason, or being terminated due to ‘willful misconduct’ or based on a labor dispute. Your application can be automatically disqualified if you are an illegal alien, you make false statements, or you already receive unemployment benefits from another state.
One of the biggest challenges is receiving benefits after you are forced to quit your job or told you have choice – resign or be fired. While you may be eligible for benefits, you will have to prove that the (ex)-employer made it extremely difficult for you to not quit. (These often result in ‘hostile work environment’ lawsuits).
Another example is when you quit your job, but need to prove what you know to be true – that you had a good reason for quitting. Your ex-employer will provide its own version of why you quit, which is often very different from your version, then makes matters worse by stating that your statement is false. The employer’s answer defeats your answer (the agency must accept the employer’s version over yours) and deny you the benefits you seek.
You can even be disqualified after you have been approved, if you: do not comply with the rules to apply for and accept ‘suitable employment’, or make false statements to the state unemployment agency. These types of scenarios often arise in worker’s/plaintiff’s lawsuits charging hostile work environment, harassment, discrimination, and related labor and employment law claims.
Full-Time Employees Only Need Apply?
- By Unemployment Advisor
- Published 07/4/2008
You are only entitled to
benefits if you are a full-time, traditional ‘employee’. In many states,
part-time employees are not eligible. ‘Contingent’ workers (independent
contractors, temporary workers and other non-traditional workers (the fastest growing segment of our workforce)
are not eligible for such benefits in any state. Too many workers who lose
their jobs don’t learn this until they file their unemployment claim, and are
surprised (to say the least) when they are denied.
Given these often-unexpected challenges and legal loopholes favoring employers, far too many workers just give up, without even trying to fight for these rights.
My job is to provide you with the information, and ammunition, you need to fight back and secure this money that is rightfully yours -- to help ‘level your playing field’ when seeking to obtain your unemployment insurance benefits.
Just filled out both of those forms, really easy like you said. I'll let you know how it works. Thanks for sharing this.
Wow, I gotta say this really saved my ass. I got a check for $40,000 to help pay off my mortgage. It really works, thanks so much man.
This google thing is great. I got my first check from them in a week! Awesome.
hope this works because i really hate my boss
I just found your blog and wanted to say congratulations. Ive been doing the google business for about a year and it has been great. Just like you said, if you have more time to devote to it, you will make a lot more money for sure. I often kick myself for not having started this sooner.
Best of luck,
Joe A
Just want to leave a comment to say that I tried your advice a few months ago and filled out both of those forms. I ended up getting a huge check from a grant and my google business is up to over $4,000 a month already. THANK YOU for showing me this...seriously.
